24/7 Radio

Lythea plays music continuously in a voice channel — no one needs to be online. It just runs.

Setup

In the dashboard under Radio → Settings, choose the voice channel Lythea should sit in and set a starting station. Save — Lythea joins the channel and starts playing immediately.

If you want the radio to restart automatically after a bot reboot, enable the Auto-Reconnect toggle. Lythea will reconnect on its own after any disconnect.

Commands

Switch the station with /radio play [Station] — if there's no matching preset, you can pass a stream URL directly. Use /radio stop to make Lythea leave the channel, and /radio volume 80 to adjust the volume (0–100).

/radio info shows the currently playing station and the current volume.

Custom Streams & YouTube

You're not limited to the built-in station list. The play command accepts:

• Direct audio stream URLs (e.g. SHOUTcast/Icecast streams)
• YouTube links — individual videos or playlists
• Publicly accessible MP3 files

No-Mic Mode

By default, Lythea is visible in the voice channel but isn't listening. Enabling No-Mic Mode in the dashboard tells Discord that the bot has no microphone. This improves stability and prevents the bot from showing up in "currently speaking" indicators for other members.

Stage Channels are not supported — only regular voice channels.

Stations & Genres

The built-in station list covers common genres: pop, rock, EDM, lo-fi, jazz, classical. In the dashboard you can add your own favorites with a custom name — then /radio play lofi is all you need instead of a full URL.
