Live Alerts

When you go live on Twitch or stream on YouTube, Lythea automatically posts a notification in your Discord.

Twitch

In the dashboard under Live Alerts → Twitch, enter the Twitch username and the Discord notification channel. Lythea checks every 60 seconds whether the channel is live and sends an embed with title, category/game, and thumbnail when it starts. Once the stream ends, nothing more is sent.

Monitoring multiple streamers at once is possible.

YouTube Livestreams

For YouTube livestreams (not uploaded videos — that's what the VOD tracker is for), enter the channel handle. Lythea detects when a scheduled or spontaneous stream starts.

Customizing the Message

The alert text can be personalized with placeholders: {streamer.name} for the channel name, {stream.title} for the stream title. Optionally add @everyone or @here if everyone should be notified.

Live Alerts and the VOD tracker are independent of each other. You can enable both in parallel — one for live streams, the other for uploaded videos.
