The Basics

What exactly does Lythea do?

Lythea replaces a whole bunch of separate bots: level system, ticket support, automod, radio, birthdays, VOD alerts — all running through one bot you control via a web dashboard. No more config chaos in Discord.

Does it cost anything?

The core is free. If you want more — white-label (your own bot name/avatar), advanced stats, or priority support — check out the subscription options. For 90% of servers, the free plan is enough.

Bot not responding — what to do?

Slash commands don't show up

This happens when the bot lacks the Use Application Commands permission in the channel, or commands haven't synced yet. Kick and re-invite the bot — everything should appear after that.

Bot doesn't write anything / doesn't respond

First check: does Lythea have Send Messages and Embed Links in the affected channel? Both need to be allowed. Channel-specific overrides take priority over the server role.

Quick test: temporarily set the bot role to Administrator → does it work then? If yes, it's a permission issue in a specific channel.

Radio won't connect

Lythea needs Connect + Speak in the voice channel. Check both individually — Stage Channels are not supported, only regular voice channels.

Welcome message isn't sending

Dashboard → Welcome → check that the module is enabled and that the target channel still exists. Deleted channels aren't automatically removed from the config.

Setup

How do I enable a module?

Dashboard → select server → click the module → save settings. Most modules have additional options after enabling (choose a channel, set roles, etc.) — go through those right away.

What's White-Label?

Your own Discord bot running on Lythea's infrastructure. You set the name, avatar, and status — to your server members, it looks like your own bot. Useful for larger communities or if you manage multiple servers as an agency.

Can I use Lythea on multiple servers?

Yes. One account, as many servers as you want — each server has its own settings. Premium features apply per server.
